1954 MG TF

The TF Midget, launched 15 October 1953, was a facelifted TD, fitted with the TD Mark II engine, headlights faired into the fenders, a sloping radiator grille concealing a separate radiator, and a new pressurized cooling system along with a simulated external radiator cap.
Production ended at chassis number TF10100 on 4 April 1955 after 9,602 TFs had been manufactured, including two prototypes and 3,400 TF1500s.

This particular car is in simply stunning condition, and may possibly be the best one for sale anywhere in the country. The last but one owner had the car from 1974 until 2013, and in that time rebuilt the car to such an extent that now, when it appears to have covered around 900 miles since it went back on the road,  it looks almost as good as a brand new car.

This is a car that has had a fantastic history. It comes complete with the  green Registration Book. Its also had some competition history which is nice for an MG, and comes with a massive file of paperwork. With invoices being only a mere part of it.  The engine was re-bored to 1350cc, its fitted with an high lift cam which coupled with a 3.9:1 rear axle, mean the car is better to drive having more power and more torque than a standard car. The Heritage certificate that comes with the car states that it was a UK car, and that it was bult between April 30th and May 4th 1954, and it still carries it’s original registration number.
