MGC Roadster 1970 Manual with Overdrive

The MGC was introduced in 1967 with an increase in power and performance over the MGB as a sports tourer. It is fitted with a 3 litre straight 6 cylinder engine (145BHP) giving superb long distance touring ability. MGC’s are becoming increasingly collectable. In total MG made only around 4500 “C Roadsters”, many will have reverted back to component parts, and the ones that are left are increasing significantly in value. This stunning car, possibly one of the last was registered in 1970, as production finished in 1969, is finished in Mineral Blue and is fitted with a full black leather interior piped in pale blue to compliment the exterior.

This is a two owner motor car. And it comes complete with a massive history file that even includes the original bill of sale from 1970. It has been cared for extremely well over the years, and was subject to a full rebuild in 2006, with a full photographic history to highlight the work that was done. Its had a recent new Hood and new tyres all round. In fact the car has been maintined absolutely regardless of cost through its life. Its got an unbelievable history file. I've not seen another car with a file like it.

This car is truly stunning. Its showing what we believe is a genuine 93500 miles, which from 1970 means the car has averaged a mere 2100 miles per year. The paintwork and chrome positively gleams, and the seats, which look original are in delightful condition and it even retains it’s original and now rare leather covered steering wheel,  so if you’re looking for a great  “C” I doubt you will find better for only £18995.

As with all our cars this MGC will come with 12 months MOT, and of course there is no charge for road fund license.
