About Us

Jaguar Mk2 3.4 Manual 1962.

Well here we have another “Villain” Style Motor Car. The Mark 2 was always the getaway car of choice for the Bank Robber of the 1960’s. They were seen in many films of that era, and were the iconic getaway car. Also used by the boys in Blue, the Mk2 is an outstanding drivers car.

This one, finished in Bright Red with a Grey leather interior is a 4 owner car, and a great example of this model. It was fully restored way back in the mid 1980’s. There is a letter in the history file from J J Dunn & Co who were consulting motor engineers and assessors, stating that the car had been fully rebuilt and that the car at that time was in extremely good order, and they placed a valuation on the car in 1987 at £10500.

In that time the car has covered less than 8000 miles, but though the interior which had been fully re-trimmed at that time, and is still in excellent condition now, the paintwork is now at the point where it will need doing once more due primarily, to Micro Blistering.

The car comes fitted with Chrome wire wheels along with narrow band whitewall tyres, and has just been re-commissioned and has the addition of brand new Coopercraft brakes all round including twin pot callipers at the front.
