Alfa Romeo 2600 Additional Information
Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider 1964, The Alfa Romeo 2600 Spyder was Alfa’s flagship model produced from 1962 to 1968. It was historically significant to have been the last Alfa built with an inline 6 cylinder power unit. With twin overhead camshafts. To say these cars are rare is an understatement. In total 2255 Spider were built worldwide, and, only 103 were built by the factory in Right Hand Drive, and this is in fact one of those mega rare Right Hand Driver versions These cars would have supplied the British market and other countries at that time, which like the UK drive on the left. Now, there are possibly only a handful left on the roads in the UK. This car has been in the same family since the late 1960s, latterly as part of their private collection. It shows a total of 5 keepers. The car has not been used for some time, and the MOT history points to the mileage of 58300 as being genuine. Now, though in delightful condition, it is is now in need of some attention. Nothing Major, and full details along with far more detailed photographs are available on request. If you like Italian flair and design, and are seeking something unusual, interesting and rare, this could be the car for you. This will be one of the rarest alfa Romeos available anywhere today. There have been a small number advertised recently at between £130,000 and £150,000, and though this car is in need of a little TLC. Serious enquiries will be welcomed and comprehensive details on the car will be available.
